Nandini Shankara Narayana

Dr Nandini Shankara Narayana is an Endocrinologist with a PhD (USyd) in Andrology, currently working as a staff specialist at Andrology department, Concord Repatriation General Hospital and is a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney Medical School (Concord and Central Clinical Schools). Her main research interest is in androgen abuse with a recent project investigating the reversibility, time course and determinants of recovery of testicular function after cessation of androgen abuse. She has published in several peer reviewed journals and won several awards including ESA young investigator award, Paul Lee best abstract award (ESA), Ferring innovation and Clinical Excellence Award (male hypogonadism). Her other areas of research work include sperm cryostorage, genetics of disorders of sexual differentiation and development along with establishing a local genetic hypogonadism register.
